Alp, who started his first tattoo studies in 2001, worked at Izmir Darkside Tattoo Studio until he started studying at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2003. He continued his tattoo work as a freelance with the school until he graduated in 2010.
Working in partnership with Hidayet Uyan in 2011 in İzmir Alsancak, Alp established his own tattoo studio under the name Art Royal Tattoo & Piercing Shop in the summer of 2012 and continues to work in his studio in Alsancak.

- 1st prize in the "Fantastic Tattoo" category at Istanbul Tattoo Convention 2009
- 2nd prize for "Best Asian Tattoo" in 2013
